Make sure you're eating right and getting enough sleep, combining that will give you the energy to go to the gym and make you feel better overall. So many guys forget to eat well when lifting since they're still seeing results, but it makes such a huge difference... to body and mind.

    Motivate yourself by these things:

Bodybuilding/overall fitness is a huge help in the military. I spent a year there driving trucks and still made me realize the shit shape that I was really in (Not fat, just didn't really do any sports anymore), so you should motivate yourself to exercise with the simple fact that you will get a huge head start by it in the army, meaning that your service will be more easy and beneficial. You'll have time to improve the little details there, but overall fitness is a huge factor.

As to the IM, if money falling from the internet into your bank account doesn't motivate you, you could always consider that you're doing a favour to your audience (if you have a blog) by telling them about stuff.

And don't take the IM too seriously now mate, studying is more important. You have time. You're already earning money online, so keep doing a little bit of this and a little bit of that to not lose the touch. In the military I'd imagine you have time to do stuff. I had time almost every day after the training period was over and got the rank badge on my sleeve.

Playing guitar should be fun dude, so if you want to play it/learn to play it, you should be doing that by now.

Any chance you'd be an Israeli? :) Had a friend who had to move back to Israel just to go to the military. It does kind of suck when you're forced to do it, but I got through it, and if you can find that little spark inside of you to motivate yourself to do it, then it's a piece of cake. I got home a corporal in a year, now try and beat me ;)
