So a few days a go I decided to have a go at making a squeeze page with a free e-book download upon opt-in that redirects to a decent high gravity SLO.I started my attempts at generating opt-ins through FB ads, but unfortunately had my Ads account banned because of promoting money-making methods. I only generated one lead that ended up bouncing through FB ads, so I spent my free time at work to find a good solo ad, and ended paying about .40 for 100 clicks. As of right now, I have 20 unique visits with 10 opt-ins, leaving me at a 50% opt in rate. I know 10 on my list isn't much, but I'm just happy to see the first solo ad I decided to go with is producing some results. I have yet to make a sale through my SLO, just one would give me a 100% ROI, so hopefully with the 80 clicks left, I'll be able to get even more solo ads with no more investment! UPDATE:I am now at 36 unique visits with 17 opt ins, so I am now at a 47% Opt-in rate. Plenty of hops on my SLO, but no sales yet. If no sales are made, I might have to change the SLO to be a cheaper purchase.

Thanks. The only thing that I'm worried about is maintaining a good relationship with my list. I don't have an auto responder unfortunately, I need to wait before I start paying for a service such as Aweber. I am currently using Mailchimp, and it requires pay to have an autoresponder. If I'm going to pay for the service, I would rather use Aweber. Has anyone maintained a good relation with their list without a welcome email?

Just checked again. Sitting at a 44% opt-in rate. I still have 50 clicks left, with 21 on my list so far. I also made a sale! First time I have ever seen money in my Clickbank! I only have 50% ROI as of now, but I still have a lot of laser targeted leads to blast with my solo ad provider, feeling ecstatic, this is the first time I have succeeded in anything IM after months of testing different methods.

Best of luck, as my mentor told me. Watch your highs and lows, stick to the grind and you'll make it.

Another update.I switched from Mailchimp to Aweber. Unfortunately with the import system, Aweber wants to confirm my list from mail chimp with another opt-in. So there goes about 60% of my list. Fortunately it was only 40 from mailchimp, but I still lost out a bit. Next solo ad is set to start in 4 hours, and I modified the method of directing leads. New sign-up form looks clean, and that lead to a thank you page with a download button that downloads the free incentive I offered along with a redirect to my SLO. Hopefully I can get my list back up to 50 subscribers by tomorrow!
