Feeling Down - IM not working well for me

I've been doing some IM for a year after losing my job. It barely pays my rent and just can't get anything to really take off. By the time I'm in something, everyone else is in it or thinking about doing it. When I make something, someone more veteran is in the process of making it and coming out.

I have job interviews tomorrow but not excited, I have anxiety as I haven't prepare well with the company.

I know people say do it today. I do but just can't get it to make money for me...

I guess I am just feeling down...

Some people can't even get $10 in a year lol. When I started, I think it took me 10 months to get $100 in adsense lol. I think it's smart to get a job thought atleast until you get some thing going that will allow you to live

If it were easy everyone would be doing it. Remember, the only reason almost all people fail in IM is because they give up.

Stop feeling down and get back to work. There is loads of money out there to be made son.

Its a competitive game but plenty of cake to go around. Think outside the box and never lose hope and drive. If you can make rent, you can expand!

Its good to see people supporting other bhw members when they are feeling down. We all need motivation/inspiration whenever we are down.

and Milton, Just dont give up,

A bend in the road is not the end in the road. We all fail initially, Thomas Edison failed 1000 times before discovering the Light bulb. Imagine where we all would have been had he not invented the light bulb.

Whatever u r doing may also lead to something big, The IM world needs creativity and will power of people like you to make it big and contribute back to the IM community.

Thanks guys for the support - it helps.

Just alot of things converging at once, pressure from the gf, loans, jobs, etc. so I'm feeling the weight of things.

I'm working on Facebook stuff right now, doing affiliate stuff. Been trying to do Facebook Ads but difficult nut to crack profitably.

I'm looking at doing websites now but MySQL skills are lacking.

You just need to keep trying different things. If you've beaten one 'method' to death and can't get it to work, try something completely different.

I've tried a few methods that aren't working, Facebook stuff has been working but not terrific. Websites haven't... web work hasn't... although I'd like to give it another go...

I don't really know what its like to put loads of effort in and get nothing out regards IM, because ive always managed to make something even if its not life changing amounts.

I was making a regular $50 to $150 per week with Clickbank, then all of a sudden for no reason ive earned nothing for over a week, im still ranking in same position and everything checkouts fine. This is really frustrating.

But it must be really hard to take, when plowing loads of time in and only producing trickles of cash.

Definitely don't give up, its like virus1 says its a question of scale.

If you are making your rent, you are probably making more than a lot of people on BHW. Prep for the 9 to 5 interview but don't give up on IM.

I was doing 20 euros a day with dating affiliates with a certain site, exactly 1 month after I was on first page on a few KW, I got deindexed.... shit happens

Yeah, I wanna echo other statements here. We all know the feeling, at least I do, I guess I just don't feel like I have any other options.

I tell people this all the time. Five years ago I was in the military on an E3 salary. That is $1200 a month. When I got out of the service I was mowing lawns for $12 an hour. Now I make twice what I used to in a month in a single day. If I would've listened to my family, my friends or given up when I failed those 100 times, I would most likely be miserable working at some shit job, just barely getting by.

Don't ever feel sorry for yourself, don't ever listen to anyone who is negative, and keep moving no matter how many times you fail. The fact that you have made money puts you in the top 5% of all online marketers. That in itself is an accomplishment. So be proud and get back to work

In my humble opinion IM is about feeling down. It's its essence. The trick is to fight it and do something about it.
