Ok, thanks everyone.
yeah, go talk to a psychiatrist.
Get some exercise and clean up your diet. This combo is works better than drugs.
Stop saying I am feeling depressed and just for five minutes visualize following things:
1) You're having the most beautiful lady in the world as your girlfriend.
2) You're the richest person on the earth.
3) You're extremely happy and thankful to almighty.
4) Lastly, you're the owner of BHW.
Think these things for five minutes, and then post how you felt. One time solution for temporary problem will give tip after you get positive result from this. Cheers
Have you tried a wank ?
I know it's easy to offer advice, but believe me, thinking of people you deeply care for and the happiness you could give them, should help you feel less depressed.
When I get depressed, I usually think to myself that it's just a passing phase. Life has never been known to be a bed of roses; although that's what we all hope for. But after every "down," there has to be an "up." As simple as that. As long as we don't let the down phases get to us, there's always light at the end of the tunnel. That's the law of nature.
Whenever Ive been depressed ( and Ive had it bad, I didnt eat for most of 2009 because I was so physically drained ) the thing that ALWAYS worked for me was a change. Most obvious answer in the world but it can be as simple as getting up earlier, fitting more into your day, seeing friends more often, visiting family ( yes that helps, really! ) working on your hobby, leaving the house more, etc.
There are a million little things you can change and you dont realise it. For me my problem was always debt and lack of money. So I looked the hardest I have for a job in my life and now I'm not doing too bad.
Time will change things, your life gradually moves along its course. Remember you will not always feel this way. It will pass.
That's it. Dream on. F**k depression.
If you do this, you will feel MORE DEPRESSED after some time as you don't have it.
yes, that was some dumb advice -- like giving an alcoholic a drink. Dream about what you don't have? -- go see a psychiatrist, they are professionals that should know how to help you.
1) Get a nice girlfriend
2) Go make some exercise
3) Change your diet
This is how I do when I feel depressed, and it works great.
If you don't have a GF get one. That will make you feel better soon. Especially if she is pretty you will feel good going out with her and seeing everyone else look at both of you. If you do have a girlfriend take her to an amusement park or somewhere where both of you can have fun. All girls want is to have FUN. Hope that helps.
F*cking Classic. That's hilarious.
But best bet is go for a run or play a round of golf. That'll cheer you up!
Best answer right here. ^ ^ From someone who's been there. I've lived with it most of my life on and off.
I used to medicate myself with drink and pot. Made it much worse in the end.
Best thing is activity. SEO is practical indoor activity that earns you dough hopefully. You need outdoor activity as well and physical activity that can be done indoors. Cleaning, cooking, exercising, sex if the opportunity presents. If it doesn't you need to go outside and get some. If you don't know how, learn how. Its just like SEO. Apply yourself and you'll get what you want and need.
All the best to you.
Think about why you are depressed and what will make you happy. Once you figure it out then start trying to get whatever it is. And in the meantime watch funny sh*t on youtube.
Get some of your favorite drinks and snacks and read lots of bhw posts, you will soon get very rich and depression will go by itself. And if you focus on newbie posts, you'll have a hell of a laugh. So both sides will cure depression.
But seriously, go outside more often and in different/new places.
I have to admit one of the things that really helped was also religiously cleaning my house before I left for work in the morning. Yes, a bit much I know.
But I know when I get home there is nothing left to do. I come home to a spotless house that smells lovely and can do whatever I want. Tidy house = tidy mind! If the environment around you isn't pleasing, it will only make matters worse. If you need a change up maybe consider doing a BIG clean of your room / dorm / home. Every time you walk in you feel such relief.
But watch out, or you may end up like me. I find myself asking my flatmates if I can whisk away their dishes constantly. " Are you done with that cup?? o_0 " before they've had their second sip....haha!
Have a cookie
Just accept the fact that you are depressed and know that this too shall pass.
"Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word happy
would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness. It is far better to take
things as they come along with patience and equanimity." - Carl Jung

Make yourself an imaginary friend who is more depressed than you for various reasons and ask him why he is depressed, before you know it you will not care about your depression and try and help him and lose focus of why you even worried in the first place.
Either that or you will be even more depressed loser talking to yourself in front of people.
Separate names with a comma.
