Feeling depressed when I'm not making more money.

This is not how rich people go about it.
What chapter of the work smart ebook is this in? I can't find it.
Kidding, just get after it and good luck
Haha, thanks! You too!

oh com'on, it was a wrong thread :P it was supposed to be an answer to a lounge thread. although into the point, you are greedy because you want to buy something, or just because you want to keep saving and saving money? Cause both could be a dream, but the second could never actually be achieved
Yeah, it's a joke, don't worry. Lol :P
Well I think I'm greedy, because I want to make so much money, so I wouldn't worry about spending and giving to people. Right now I hate myself for that, some people think I earn much and think I'm stupid for not spending it.

i got only one advice to give you. never care what others think. if these people are just random individuals then they just envy you that they cannot get that much. If you want to try new methods as you mentioned on your first post, then just try earning from methods that didn't give you anything when you started. If its adsense then try micro niches or adsense + yt. as some1 mentioned before you have the advantage of having a capital to fund your project. go on, try everything. some will fail, some will give you more

just be happy that you're making money. If you're stuck then just re invest the money you made into another site.

Thanks guys, you're the best out of all communities out there!

I feel you... it's been very slow for a bunch of us lately... I guess we need to implement Einstein: "making things different to produce different results"

Were you an overachiever as a kid? "Good enough is never good enough" ??

This kind of perfectionist attitude can be crippling. Try reading through Feeling Good by Dr. Dave Burns - or anything on cognitive behavioral therapy. Your thoughts determine your emotions, so the key really is to reinforce your accomplishments and stop to savor your success before moving on to future projects. So many people were discouraged from doing that because their folks didn't want them to get lazy and settle for less than the best, but a) it makes life more enjoyable for YOU, b) it makes life enjoyable for everyone around you and c) you can't truly tell when something isn't working if you don't know how to acknowledge when it is. Celebrate your successes so that you can see what needs improvement. That will help you with any project you work on, and with life in general. :)

ok to make you all feel better,

1200 USD/ month in my country is a salary of an engineer who studied in top school for about 5-6 years and has between 5 years experience :D

hohho

I'm still 17. My parents never pushed me to do anything in life, they practically let me do anything by my self. I just love the feeling of being acknowledged and "successful", but I want to strive by being acknowledged not by "middle class" people, I want to be among the "1%" or what ever you'd call that. And I feel I just hit a brick wall, and I'm trying to punch trough it. :)

Yeah, that makes plenty of us.

I remember fantasizing about making $50 per day and how satisfied I would be. Now that I have surpassed that I am saying the same exact thing, except now it is $200 per day. If I reach $200 a day, it is going to be $500 per day. And so on. There will always be someone who makes more than me, so I will always strive to top them.

I can never have enough, and it sucks but it is what it is. I don't want to be satisfied with what I earn because then I won't have the drive to make more, but if I am not satisfied with what I am earning I always want more and feel unfulfilled. There has to be something in the middle, I just don't think it is me though.

This is me. I thought if I made 20$ a day for the whole year, I will have enough money for my first car and I'd be happy. But now I've got more than enough to buy that car, and it's only been 2-3months since I made it as my goal.

As the title says,
I feel depressed when I don't make more money, currently I'm making around $xxx per day, I know for some members it's good, but it's not good enough for me. I want to start doing other methods, but I just don't know where to start. Anyone feel the same way? I feel like I've hit a brick wall..:frusty:

There are 3 same signatures from different users in this thread. Perhaps they will try to tell you the way to earn more :)
And counting, now 4 :)

I had the same problem until I learned I enjoyed the game of success more so than the end result.

Well that's a cheeky way of promoting your stuff. ^^

Don't tie your happiness to an X dollar amount. It's just a number, it doesn't mean anything. Instead focus on what you could do/be with that money, the underlying motive for why you want that money. Money isn't a goal. It's a result of doing things the right way.

I have been looking at it that way too, that's why I want to make more money, because the more money, the more "right" things I'm doing.

People talk about scaling, but people who are actually running a business will know that scaling is most difficult and the most important part of running a startup/business.

Making money online is a collective principle of knowing your market and reaching out to them using the best approach. First you need to know if the market is there before looking how to convince them to buy from you and not your competitors. Secondly, you have to create a unique selling point, device an effective follow up system, track where your sales are coming and which traffic converts the most.. I don't think it's any harder.
