Hi guys,

I was wondering if you could give me some feedback on what I should add, remove or improve on in my store. I spent quite some time setting it up, between research and actually applying what I learned. I have received feedback from many friends that they think my products are nice and that the website looks good. I am certain that even if it is good, there is room for improvement.

I have done a couple of FB ads (spent 50 dollars roughly), with no return on my ad spend. I have decided to learn more about FB ads and get feedback on my store from people more knowledgable before throwing money into ads again.

I was hoping you guys could check out my store and provide me with some feedback. You can check it out here: http://www.bohopulse.com

First problem is Logo is too much large. Make it smaller and reduce spaces from the menu alongside logo

You should put some more work into the design of your store. At first glance it's very plain and it looks like someone just threw it together in an hour. Try and include some images of people wearing the products or some attractive banners at least to bring some more life and color to the website.

Thanks for the reply.

I will be getting my own photos of my collection in 10 days or so (my own models and hq photos of inventory), so then I will have more photos to make use of. Anything else I can do for now?

Hi, i have many friends doing ecommerce (not dropshipping).

Read my notes below

- Use a smaller logo.
- Use multiple slider images - or remove the slider.
- Add more products to homepage.
- Add more & more content to product descriptions.
- Get some comments / reviews for the products.

for advertising:
- First of all, start to use a retargeting company (Adroll, PerfectAudience or something else.)
- Stop paying for traffic generation ads. (do not use FB or Google ads for now)
- Drive traffic to your Shopify store from your Instagram account. (Follow your target audience, like their contents, leave some non-disturbing comments.)
- Start a retargeting campaign (with a minimum budget e.g: 5 USD/day)

After you make some sales, you can consider paid advertising (especially google & fb & instagram).

I hope it will work for you..

In my opinion besides all the mentioned you should do these things:
  • Change the cookie notice bg color, because it looks kind of weird when it blends together with the footer;
  • Match the footer text color to white, like in top bar, right now the text doesn`t blend in too well and work on collors alltogether. There are multiple websites and ig accounts where you can look at that, one of them is @awsmcolor, but as I said there are multiple;
  • Either add something to the latest news section in footer or remove it, looks incomplete;
  • imo in the top bar there should only be the free shipping notice and it should be centered, make the logo smaller and move the cart next to nav ;
  • That is a small thing, but you should remove the bg of favicon;
