One of the company that I work for has some 360 feedback that they launched recently. They wanted us to give feedback to clients. They said that the contents of the feedback will be confidential, but after few months o submitting the feedback, my Project Manager got a call from Quality Team asking who gave 1 in feedback and why are there so many issues written in feedback and that we should type a sorry message to client stating that it was a misrepresentation and a faulty feedback.
I was the one who gave the feedback as there were only 4 of us in team, and I thought that feedback would be used internally to discuss how we are going to interact with client.
I had given lowest in infrastructure because they didn't had tools that we were supposed to work and also because our utilization went down the rabbit hole.
Also, I have mentioned only those things that were already mentioned in the "Risk" associated with the project submitted by Project Manager and I got to know it later because I had already filled the feedback and now I saw that PM was also thinking the same while listing the risks.
But I don't understand how should I deal with it.
Personally I have asked PM to keep me out of any feedback that is to be sent to Clients in future. But that doesn't changes what will happen now because there is a lot to speculate, and I'm not sure what will be their next course of action.
