so i started an ebay business and have been making a few bucks and dealing with a TON of stupid customers.

lately i have been getting severe feedback abuse. normally i would report it, but i send my codes via ebay messages, which is apparently against their policy. i had already been issued a warning when i first started by blatenly saying that i will email you the code, but have since revised it.

somebody left me two bad feedbacks, the first one says "F. U. he sold me fake code" and then "Yeah buddy." he left me feedback on an item that he hasnt paid for, which is beyond ridiculous, and one that he paid for.

the question i have is, can i report him for feedback abuse, even though im breaking ebays policy by emailing the code? are they going to look through my messages and ban me?

i've ranted enough, and you guys already know how messed up ebay is... but this is so ridiculous. all the laws make it hard enough to make money, but its our OWN PEOPLE that make it even harder. they are inadvertanly supporting big business by screwing us. they think that we have money because we sell stuff on ebay, what a joke

How can you moan, if your breaking eBays rules?

because ebays rules are ridiculous. besides, i would get bad feedback if i did not break the rules. its automatically assumed that i am going to message them the code. all of the other sellers are doing the exact same thing.

i believe abusive language in feedback system is not allowed so if you report it to ebay they should probably remove it , dont mention anything about sending codes with email

Yeah you could report it but in the end your just most likely opening a can of worms for yourself.
Normally if your breaking the rules you should be careful about reporting others. Radar will be on you
pretty quick.
