This is random, but I thought maybe someone could help me or give some advice. I filed my 2012 taxes last January 30th. I had at least 3 conversations with the IRS stating that my tax return should have been received. It's almost been a year since I filed and I still have yet to receive nothing. The "Where's my refund?" part of the IRS site is not recognizing that I had a return coming. The last progress I saw on there a couple of months ago was "We have received your refund and it is now being processed." I wonder if I got screwed out of receiving it? I'm worried. Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks.

You should check with the person that filed it for you and if you filed it yourself then you probably fucked it up.

one time i tried to file, they said sir you already filed 3 weeks ago, i said no i didn't, they said yes you did, i said hmmm that guy who did it for me was a nice guy, he took my money too !

OP, I am an attorney and CPA and may be able to assist you in this matter. If you would like, we can contact the IRS on your behalf to perform a "compliance investigation" to get to the bottom of this. We can help you determine if the return was received, processed, or the current status.
