Every week some new guy pops out with a new forex trade. Most of them simply links to one of the main platforms aff link. Nothing new, nothing useful.

JV forex threads are a pain in the ass as well.

No value is brought to this board by forex threads (IMHO)

Should not we just ask mods to forbid forex from this BLACK HAT SEO forum?
Or is it just me who is annoyed by this trend?

I think it's influenced by the black hat team website who have a dedicated forex section. A good resource for the forex if you're into EA's is the FXFatCat forum http://www.fxfatcat.com/

the only people making profit in FX are the brokers.....you have no edge retail.

I agree

there is huge risk to BHW members who don't know how this market works.

also they are spamming forex affiliate links on the forum -as people don't know better.

I agree there should be no forex trading threads allowed.

It seems to be marketed as a "get rich quick" sort of scheme, which is perfect for this audience. That is what everybody wants to hear.

However, if you have tried Forex, or if you read some comments from certain members on here, or if you have the ability to see the obvious... it is just like everything else, only the top 2-5% are actually banking (that's just traders...)

I don't think it is fair to people to try to trick them into getting in and wasting their money. People are joining and spending money on something they know nothing about.

Yeah, most people just crash out and lose money. It's a very difficult game to master.

forex is simple but not easy.
should talking about it be BANNED!!??
what is this, soviet russia?

The issue is not talking about it.

The issue is people trying to con others into joining or wrongfully informing them about how much money they WILL make.

Or people using affiliate links and things like that just to boost their product sale of XYZ Guide to Forex trading.. etc.

I agree that forex affiliate links should be kept to your own website and should not be promoted on somewhere like here! I come here to learn new things and how to do things better, as a forex website owner I don't want to have to sift through reams of stuff that I either sell or have chosen not to. However to ban talking about it entirely might be a bit much, should affiliate links just not be moderated in some way?

well here's the thing

Forex in the USA has rules about its promotion

So anyone who spams an affiliate link on a forum - that is not an NFA member runs the risk of a fine and a ban from the industry.

If you want to post that your a market professional - then you must identify yourself and your credentials - and include all approved disclaimers.

This is not me making it up - these are the rules of the market - that are enforced by the CFTC.

So either - you talk about Forex in a disclosed manner - providing real information - and actual contact details for yourself and background history - plus your registration information

or you are breaking the law and open to punishment

So therefore it is in BHW's interest to stop this - and allow that type of discussion to take place on a proper Forex Forum.

Threads that say - there is so much money to be made etc etc are misleading - because of the leverage involved its far more likely you lose all your money.

Anyway those are the facts - do with it what you may.

I will be putting up a thread on what is forex, where to get free material, where to go to get the best information for free.
Everything you can read in a book or ebook is on forums and other great resources. You don't need some of these so called
guru's to tell you want to do and how to do it. Forex is a mind game that is between you and the rest of the world.
Remember, for every winner their MUST be a loser.
So yea in the coming days you guys will see a detailed report on forex and who it is for and where to get more information
about it and how to study and learn it without stupid affiliate links or places where you need to order bullshit books and videos
from. I learned by myself via these forums and helpful resources.
Forex is not a scheme or a way to "get rich quick". Just like in anything else you have the lucky people who get in at the right
time and make it good, yet you also have the no so lucky people who just don't have it in them. You need to study how to
trade to understand what is going on in the market.
What these autobots are thinking, what are the traders at the other end thinking? Is it going to break this double top? is this trend
line solid enough for it to bounce it? How do i play this if it goes my way? how do i play it if it goes against me? where do i
set my SL? .... their are just so much out their its not even funny.
I will try my best to make the thread as detailed as possible.
I will make this report good enough so that before anyone goes into a Forex JV or anything forex related they could be forwarded
to the thread before getting involved in something that they know nothing about.

Forex is just another way of making money online. BHW rules and common sense apply, I don't think the topic should be banned.
