I'm having the same problem,funny thing is i have the theme on another blog and it's working perfect.
This is a new install and i'm just getting the text no images.

Weird.
I thought could possibly be due to my removal of some of the code to enable footer links being removed, but I tried a clean install of the theme (leaving all their code intact) and still get just the text.
Bumping for the hopeful possibility someone has a fix for this.

has this been solved? i need the help for my new wptheme myself, 10.00 seems more than reasonable for the knowledge..any ideas are appreciated! need to be live asap

i ran into it myself with the themes from newwpthemes!!
seems like its partly to do with the way the feature code is written, though i haven't really played much more than me getting it to work!
basically, it looks like the issue is within the feature.php where it checks your WP version.
pastebin /0VYRXMwX
so i simply removed the chek and used the old style haks?? im gonna try to see wats up w/ the version)compare deal, but for now.. i got it to work!!
so basically the above code you just remove the if statement and keep everything within the else.
pastebin /0VYRXMwX << goto paste bin and add this to the end of the URL to get the code and this post..
i hope this helps!!
