I feel like I have a fear of working. I have thought up a plan that seems very solid and when I start executing it I feel panic because I start doubting myself, thinking that I should do this or that differently and then start thinking if it's gonna work at all etc.

I have read many threads and journal threads that have different principles they follow and I want to combine them but they don't always work together and then I start thinking if it's gonna work at all etc.

I want to feel confident that what I do works so I could do the routine jobs but the fear of failure paralyzes me.

If you don't act and you fail its the same result.. No money. But as long as you're taking action you might get success. We all get a little nervous that our efforts won't pay off but that's just a part of being an entrepreneur. If you fail get back up and try again.

Yeah, that's kept me from actually taking action on the methods on this forum for months and months. Turns out I had a fear of my affiliate accounts (Peerfly, etc) being banned, and also being sued by some giant corporation. It was so ingrained, that I forgot about it. I just found methods where the possibility of that would never happen. Then I had to convince myself that beautiful things would await me on the other side, when I get the work done. Just focus on the positive, and take a small bite at a time.

Whenever I come up with a new plan I just get straight into it 100 % full on throttle even if it's 5 in the mornin. If it doesnt work out I'll still just have no money :) Buuut if it does then badabing badabang ...... someone's getting hookers tonight.

The reality is, we're all going to fail. Those who fail are more informed and prepared to proceed than those who don't. By fearing failure, you fear success itself. As success is a journey you embark upon, only after failing many, many, many times. Embrace the failures with the knowledge that it's inevitable on some levels. Learn from it, be strengthened by it.

Your problem is that you're over thinking everything, just go for it and if you fail then see it as a learning curve.

Just do it, if you worry you will not achieve anything, but if you step in and fail. at least you gained some experience

You don't have a 'fear of working' what you described is a lazy bitch who has no place in any sort of business. What I got from your ost is that you lack the entrepenurial spirit, are extremely risk averse, and you would probably be better forgetting you ever found this website because you are only going to half ass everything you do.

People like you are the ones who should be content taking a secure paycheck home every week for the rest of their lives. Because you are so afraid of failure you will spend you life working for other people building their dreams, instead of your own. All because of your supposed 'fear of working'

Are you talking about a real day to day job or a journey on Internet marketing.

First of all, you need to read some journey threads here and see how some guys are making up to $10k per month and don't be afraid of failures, even the most successful person had failed many times in his life.

Thanks for answers. Maybe the "Fear of working" was a wrong phrase to use but I do understand that I have a fear of failure in me. I will do my best to forget the doubts and "what-ifs" and just execute the plan :)

its simple, just DON'T !!

everybody will step into things we don't like or fear of. but who knows what will happen unless you tried, just face it and grown through it.

what doesn't kill you, make you stronger.

If you are afraid of working, find a rich old lady to take care of
you or win the lottery. Those are basically your only choices :)

Have you had a paid job before? If not perhaps even a month or 2 would give you some self confidence.

It might help with your state of mind and condition it towards positivity- good luck and let us know how you get on.

Here is something you may not know: Many of the most successful internet marketers are
people who have failed MANY times - except, they don't call it failure. They just see it as
"not getting getting the results they wanted". So what do they do? . . . They go and make
another pot of coffee and start another campaign. That is called "failing forward".

"Illegitimi non carborundum" (that's Latin for "Don't Let The Bastards Get You Down.") :)

Best Wishes - "Wiz"

First thing - You're not alone! Almost everyone normal has fear of failure!

Success is good, but failure is good, too. Once you succeed, you don't go left and right collecting XP points, so in my opinion failure adds to experience more than success and it inevitably leads to success.

Remember:
It's important to TAKE ACTION!

Among other wallpapers, I have these on my desktop switching every 10 minutes: :)

"Don't overanalyse - you'll be caught by analysis paralyzes!"

"Not to try is the true failure!"

"The fears we don't face become our limits" -- Robin Sharma

"While one person HESITATES because he feels INFERIOR,
the other is busy making MISTAKES and becoming SUPERIOR." -- Henry C. Link

"Defeat should motivate you!"

"Remember that guy that gave up?
Neither does anyone else."

If there is no fear of failure, these wallpapers shouldn't be popular this much. :)

Anyway, take action and start now, and don't give up. Ever.

You're not scared of failing you're actually scared of succeeding.
What happens if you get it right?
What do you you do next?
It's your fear of the unknown.
You already know what it's like to fail and that's your comfort zone.
You have to break out of your comfort zone and embrace the unknown if you want to succeed.
