    1000 Posts Bitch!

    Hey guys BHW has been so fucking good to me and has played a big roll in my success online and that's why I give back a lot and will keep giving back as long as I can. All I ask is when you hit success that you do the same :)

    This post is sort of an extended version of my last Facebook PPC Post click here to view. Last time I went over how to get an ad approved, basic tips with CPC and CPM and a type of campaign you can run. I will go over much of the same things but since last time I have discovered a lot methods and tricks. So enough of that, lets get started!

    Getting Your Ad Approved

    Because I know I will get 1 million PM's about this I will go over it again. Once you know the ad you're going to run and you have your land page set up, you need to submit your ad for approval. Say you are hosting your landing page at http://mylander.com/ you will need to upload this code to to index.html:

    Code:
    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
    <html>
    <head>
    <title>Your Page Title</title>
    <meta http-equiv="REFRESH" content="0;url=http://www.the-domain-you-want-to-redirect-to.com"></HEAD>
    <BODY>
    </BODY>
    </HTML>
    What this code does is it redirects the user to the website of your choice. So you will redirect the Facebook moderator to a whitehat page [it doesn't have to be yours] so it can get approved. Once they approve it, remove the code and use your black hat lander.

    What Should I Use? CPC Or CPM?

    This is a huge topic open for debate but a lot of information on it is wack. Seems like whenever anyone starts Facebook PPC they seem to think CPM is the way to go for some reason. I'm not saying it's wrong but it's not the best.

    With CPC you're only paying for the targeted clicks you receive, with CPM you're paying for the targeted impressions you receive. Your CTR with CPM fluctuates because of the time of the day so it is a riskier option. With CPM you have to keep your target audience very low and specific because you need every impression to potentially turn into a click. This means that there is really no margin for error in terms of targeting.

    But with CPC you can target over 1 million people because only users that are interested in your ad will click on it. That means you really can't go wrong.

    CPC with shitty targeting - No clicks, you don't lose money.
    CPM with shitty targeting - No clicks, you DO lose money.

    Another benefit of targeting a wide range of users using CPC means that there will be certain interests you target that don't have any bidders, meaning you can get $0.05 cpc.

    In conclusion, CPC is the way to go. Try to target 1million+ users.

    The Method!

    As I said in the last thread I made, the easiest CPA campaign to do is a vote. People on Facebook hate traditional ads you'll see on Google. Facebook isn't a search engine, it's a social network so you need a whole different approach. They love interacting and having their opinion heard, that's why we do a voting campaign. We do something like 'Who is the best NFL Player?', target NFL fans and use the lander I display below then on the continue button link to a NFL related offer. Use http://affbuzz.com/offerbuzz/ to find offers from different networks.

    Getting A Low CPC!

    The secret to a low CPC isn't CTR like most people believe. Facebook wants you to spend money, so if you put your daily spend limit at something like $300, Facebook will give you a lower CPC than other bidders with a higher CPC bid. It sounds crazy but trust me it works like a charm :)!

    The Lander!

    Virustotal: Could someone else do it? I've been queued for 5 hours.

    Lander Setup!

    Upload FBDtemplate.zip to your server and extract all of the files. Edit config.php with all your details and you're done! :)

    P.s - I have another version coming for Jr.VIP's. This version will have a CPA script that will fight the networks shaving you. It's dope!

    Hopefully you guys bank with this like I have :)

    I haven't personally used this, but I've seen this ad format a hundred times on pop-ups - so it probably converts there too.

    First of all, congrats on your 1K post! -- And thanks again for a very informative post!

    I have a question regarding getting your ad accepted... when you put the URL [such as "mydomain.com/go"] within the ad and then re-direct the FB ad moderator to a different URL, doesn't that raise a red flag on them?

    I thought the URL that's on the FB ad must be the same URL where the user is taken... Please clarify this a little bit.

    Also, what experience have you had with using the HTML re-direction code and send users to CPA landing pages (money pages), instead of your own?

    Reverse the process, once the ad get approved, then put the code.

    First of all Congrats on your 1000th post and this nice share.

    Just one question, i have my daily budget set up at very high around $1000 for last two months and CPC bid is 0.08 but still not getting enough clicks.

    If i increase this to 0.11 or 0.12, my campaign starts to get clicks but i want the clicks at 0.08 so i increased my daily budget to around $2000. But now not getting enough impressions, forget about the clicks.

    This means that some interests you are targeting have a bid of $0.08 and others have $0.10+. My advice would be to target more. Expand your reach and you will find more of those $0.08 interests which will give you more traffic :)
