FB sweeps

no one outside of Meta knows exactly how long the “sweep” will last; usually until the AI/moderators see a decrease in spoofing/spam.

Meta is only scanning BM 10 or BM 2500 created with code, while accounts created from real BM are still stable
this will end soon
 
Just lost like 70% of my accounts, self made ~2014 to 2018 last 3-4 years used only for sharing posts(no links)2 max a day, maybe 10 average month) + inviting to pages, never ran ads.
Up until this point, I assumed they are fully under the radar.

yes low quality accounts are being restricted this sweep will probably last for a few weeks
 
FB usually runs these sweeps from time to time, especially when they tighten their detection systems. There’s no fixed timeline — sometimes it lasts a few days, sometimes longer
 
This is pretty common right before Q4, just give it a week or two and it should calm down.

Can't say exactly how long the scan took, but this time they mainly targeted the BM2500s created from the tool
 
the storm is over, but a lot of bm accounts were deactivated, anyway things are better now, is everyone okay?
 
Same here, all my BM8 and BM10 accounts are gone. Old accounts die in series, seems like only BM5 XMDT can still hold up against the scans

Nobody actually knows. Only thing you can do is manage your assets properly and having back up plans. About the storm, it happens many time a year, especially when FB update their algorithms.
 
Haha, it's really a "storm" on FB . Usually these scans don't last forever, they calm down after a few days to 1-2 weeks. The most important thing now is to keep your account clean, limit unusual actions and wait for the waves to calm down before going strong again.
 
I find that normally from the start until it stabilizes is about a week, but there are times when it will be longer

I was also swept last week, lost several accounts despite taking good care of them, so I understand your feelings. I wonder if FB will tighten this time in waves or will it be continuous? Has anyone experienced it and see when the situation will stabilize?
 
Every storm will pass, usually it will only last a few days and then everything will be back to normal, don't worry too much.
 
Yeah, Facebook often runs sweeps from time to time, especially when they update detection systems or roll out new checks. Hard to say exactly how long it will last, but usually these waves calm down after a short period.
