Fb PPC + Affiliate Programs

Hello, im new to the forum and I'm really interested in PPC and affiliate programs.
I have been reading and I wanted to know if it is actually allowed to direct from Fb ads to your affiliate link, i have read mixed comments so I wanted get that doubt out of the way.
As well I have been reading about websites such as social ad ninja that promises very helpful insight about which ads are more profitable, I wanted to get some comments about social ad ninja in particular, and as well any advice you guys could give me to start with my Fb campaigns, like I said I'm new and i thought this would be a good place to start

It is always better to redirect the traffic from a landing page. It is always better to get your feet wet by leaping into the setting up ads that to wait for someone's advice.
Images plays a major role in the performance of the ads. Split test the same offer with different landing pages and images and pause the least converting one. Set a daily budget of $10-$50, whatever you feel is right. Expand from there.

well i dont really have a website, how does directing to a landing page influences the final outcome? i was thinking in spending around 20$ and see what happens, everything i have read implies that there is a lot of experimentation in this subject, which i really like
