both our pages were created about the same time. His probably first. But Im not sure wtf here...

can anybody shed some light on the project here?

thanks

No doubt, social networking helps you in getting SERP rankings... But don't expect wonders out of it, Unless you are using your profiles for creating backlinks.

Social networking profiles is a great channel for driving traffic to the website. If you are getting good traffic from this channel, then you can compromise with the SERP rankings.

I think the number of facebook likes has nothing to do with ranking your facebopk page on SERPS.

I'm in the same boat as you. After doing some research it looks as if we point a few links to the facebook page it will be indexed.

Like others have said, Google doesn't look for the most "likes" on a page. They look for backlinks. Blast it with some backlinks and you'll see an increase in SERPs.

Ok I did that letting it marinate in the www.. lol

I did a SEnuke blast lets see how that works out..
I just didnt know what the deal was with FB and like pages. Thought I ask

Number of facebook likes reflects the popularity of your page... See, I would never follow a page which is inactive.

If your page is getting likes, there must be some reason for this (unless they are not purchased links)...

As far as I know, in very rare cases, you see your facebook page in SERP rankings.
