Yes, but it's not prioritized for display. YouTube has restricted channels creating content from AI, and I don't think Facebook will approve monetization for AI-powered content either. Content that's created too easily and in such large quantities is truly worthless.
 
It's entirely possible to make money from it, but the results aren't great because it's difficult to get meta-moderated, and nonsensical posts are unlikely to attract customer interaction.

You can deffo monetise AI-gen content on there but the thing is, if you want to make money of it then you'll want to avoid using AI slop.
Low-effort, mass-produced stuff will probs get short birsts of reach but eventually it throttles out. If it's monetising consistently, it's likely because some thought was put into making it stick.
Other than that I have no idea if AI slop necessarily makes it for monetisation. But if it's AI generated content, then yeah. There's a distinction there.

You can make money from AI-generated content on Facebook, but if it’s just random or low-quality “nonsense,” the success rate is very low — usually under 5%. The algorithm favors content that keeps people engaged and drives real interaction. AI is just a tool; your results depend on your idea, content format, and distribution strategy.
