FB marketing just got a whole lot easier

Now that we have the "LIKE" button, marketing on face book is a whole lot easier. But that's not why I'm posting this.

My message is: "Don't tell everyone the new marketing methods! Just be quiet and make money!"

My message is, get back in your box noob, BHW is built on sharing and will be around long after you've given up on IM and gone back to flipping burgers.

fb methods or any other methods will come and go like seasons, you have to adapt or twist it, if you want to share with the BHW members share it as its not going to last for a lifetime, if not be quiet and count your cash, i must agree that when sharing something of value must be done in controlled environments such as Jr. VIP or PM because people with knowledge will invest time and money to apply those methods to earn and some noobs will come up and saturate the method before actually making money from it, i have nothing with noobs if they learn the right way, this is just a general advice and opinion, love you all BH`ers

actually the real intimate secrets are known to the big players at **************. I talked to a few of them and they got their shit straight, honestly its not rocket science what they are doing but I will tell you for sure they do 2 things, BIG QUANTITY and BETTER QUALITY PAGES THAT GO UNDER THE RADAR!.

I totally agree with you. Isn't it common knowledge that black hat techniques work great then get saturated and disappear? I believe that every black hat marketer should understand that. This forum is a place to share, profit, exploit then rinse and repeat. I am really unsure why the MOD would get upset with you.... thats the point of this forum isnt it???

I'd hate to break it to you fanboy, but the big players arn't using fanpages as the corner stone. fanpages is for n00bs, if their not exploiting FB API & FB connect they are just masturbating.

I've been melting servers by locking down content & forcing access via FB connect, which then drives exponential traffic from status updates. You don't have to worry about the ban hammer when its your site.

Don't try this shit unless you have monster dedicated server, know you to bang out a cluster setup, can tweak & optimize your site code & have heaps of credit cards to cover the bills until payday.

facebook is the new google, "friendrank" is the new SEO...crazy,crazy crazy traffic surges. Facebook new open graph api changes everything because of the crazy traffic they seduce you with.

In fairness, I was probably a bit harsher than was required. You know what they say, 'if you haven't got anything nice to say...'

Despite the infraction I received for my previous post, one very valid point was raised by Hexalor which was basically "If this guy is a noob, then surely he'd have no stake in what people share".

Now this, to me means judging by the post count and join date of the person in question that either they are someone who was banned previously or really are just a new person with an opinion. You can decide for yourselves what this says about the weight their original post carries.

Either way, the bottom line is there are always going to be people that are here to contribute and cultivate ideas and those who are here to share/hoard info with their closest buddies and whilst it's a personal choice only one of these two mentalities requires an entire forum.

For fanpages i would totally agree, but with the new open graph api its totally new ball game. FB is bribing publishers with a tsunami of traffic, so you will use FB connect authorization. FB wants you to rape them until they reach critical mass & then they have the one ring to rule all.

This open graph api is going to create a few FB millionaires

I hate to say it, but BHW isn't the only money making forum on the web. What might not be shared here, is sure to be shared elsewhere. Not all forums govern like BHW, and various members on various forums have different principles on "sharing."

I'm not knocking BHW, but BHW isn't the internet, and the internet is huge. A lot of these "methods" that a lot of you here do not want shared are already blasted over multiple forums by members who either simply don't care or encourage sharing no matter what the cost.

So my point is, I'm not bashing BHW, I would never do that as it is a wonderful forum and has taught me and so many others how to make money online. But there is no use arguing and flaming over things getting shared, because if they aren't already out there, they will be. Just a reality check, nothing more.

One thing to keep in mind is that a persons join date has nothing to do about someone being a noob. A newbie member with no post count that knows what they are talking about, might be a past member of bhw, or never been a member before at all. Even if they have never had an account on BHW, it doesn't say anything about their knowledge level.

There are many people in IM that have been successfully making money online for years, and never joined a marketting forum before. Sometimes it's worthwhile to call out a noob, that's how new people learn what not to do. But don't make the mistake of thinking every new member is a noob, even if they never had a previous account on bhw. There is a difference between a newbie and a noob.

As far as a person sharing their methods, there isn't an obligation for anyone to share their methods. Sharing is what makes forums like bhw so valuable, but noone is required to share everything. It's possible to give people a lot of help, without giving away the farm.

If you want to see why it's good to watch what you share, just look at the recent example with the identi.ca share. Within a week of the share the method was totally destroyed by people not even smart enough to understand what the method was for. It's good to share, but sometimes you have to be smart about it.

I would totally agree with the comment about not giving away the farm so to speak. Creativity is one of the best assets when it comes to marketing. If someone doesn't have the drive to search out info based off the clues provided here in this forum then that's not the fault of the BH experts. I personally found that script on another forum and had no clue what it did but I researched it out and now plan on using it very soon. Facebook like Mega Midget said will become the new google in it's own particular way which is really exciting so let's not waste time worrying about what noobs are doing or not doing, just focus on how to ride this monster wave called Facebook.
