Hi, I'm not really experienced when it comes to FB likes. I would like to know if there would be any penalty imposed on you if, for example, your page would suddenly receive 1,000 FB likes in a span of 48 hours? (the current page has 4 likes so far and after the massive FB likes, it would probably become 1000+)

Thanks!

Never worked with facebook, but i don't think much would happen. The "Like" button is a common thing that's clicked around viral content, so I'm sure having something get 1k likes in one day isn't a big deal.

However, you never really know. So I'd spread it out across like 2 days just to be sure I'm safe.

Have gotten 14k in one day no problem.

Tried 150k - page got deleted. Lesson learnt - don't go overboard.

I think it's predominantly judged by how many people "unlike" your page very quickly after liking. As we were clickjacking this ratio was quite high.

No, there is no penalty... I've bought 1000+ likes in the past, Facebook doesn't care and not like they can do anything -- you just make another Facebook account :).

1k of clicks are fine. That reminds me I need someone to make some more likes for me...

You should definitely not run into a penalty for 1k likes

Okay then. Thanks guys!

I agree with everybody else so feel safe knowing that all of us have not been banned for up to 10k likes in a 24 hour time frame, just don't get like 50k in one day they might check into it :D

Okay cool then. Just ordered a gig that gives me 1k likes in 2 days.
