FB Likes going down in all pages? Yours too?

Seems like FB is bent on living up to their recent claims of removing fake likes. I have 6 FB pages with over 100,000 likes all purchased via Like exchange sites that claimed that their Likes were real (of course, they are all bots). All my pages have been going down steadily in Like count every single day. I know others who are having the same happening.

Are you guys experiencing this? How long you think this is going to go for?

I haven't noticed any drops yet, though I don't nearly have 100k fan page likes. I just read a news article though that FB is crawling accounts and shutting the fake accounts down. A lot of major fan pages have been losing likes according to the article. It was on CNN btw.
 
Yep, only that FB had publicized this measure before and they hadn't done much about it and it was hardly noticeable. However, it seems as though this time the fvckers are working hard at it. I have even noticed a few big companies' fan pages dropping wild.

For what is worth, mine were done via providers who assured that the Likes were real and not bot generated.

Funnily enough, FB claims to be working to remove Fake likes and not Face accounts so that their huge number of accounts doesn't diminish. Imagine if FB went from having 800 million accounts (or whatever it is that they have) to only 300 million real accounts; their shareholders would not be happy at all.

IMO, if they want to be legitimate, they should go for the fake accounts, not just fake likes; but it is business (although so are our fakely liked fan pages).
 
Now if only they could remove fake clicks that their ads get that would be much better.
 
I just got the warning that my page can't be viewed on people's wall/timeline for a month and since them I have noticed I lost a few hundred likes from my pages. Looks like they're cracking down.

What, so FB are now like G, and they notify you when they hint that you have black hatted or what?

Can you share what they specifically said in the message? Were they pointing at you for having bought Likes? Did they mention that they would close down the fan page since buying Likes is against the TOS?
 
It will be FB removing fake likes from your page, a lot of fake accounts have been shut down recently. A few weeks back if you looked at the FB like sellers on Fiverr you would see that they were all receiving bad reviews for not delivering or likes disappearing and suddenly the sellers could only offer 250 instead of 2000 likes. It was because FB was clamping down. Twitter did exactly the same, everyone was loosing their followers and the fake accounts were closed. Caused a lot of problems for sellers and buyers.
 
yes fake fans are being deleted mine still there so hope for good.....
 
It's getting worse, lost 800 followers in 3 days in one of the fan pages.

In all honesty, I only use FB for the fan pages, but I hope they (FB) soon die.
 
Yeah, I read on BBC that they were doing this. I can't post links yet otherwise I would!
