FB Like vs Share

Guys,

Nowadays i see a trend of websites like upworthy whom have prime Facebook Share button compared to Facebook Like button.

Does share has far more viral effect than like?

Share your inputs please.

I believe both is very effective but surely a SHARE is better because it gets the post to be seen by more people due to it been shared to the person timeline/friends. LIKES also show that many people find the post to be a good one.

Well just my opinion

To make your page viral or active you need to have more talking about of your pages to increase you reach.
And this can only be increase with more likes more shares and tags.

Shares are more important. But only if they are 100% real...not from the cheap useless fiverr gigs

You mean more likes for the FAN PAGE and more shares and tags for POSTS, rite?

true, makes sense.. otherwise whom might be reading and sharing again if the profiles sharing are fake.

True you have a point but if you have fake likes/shares, real people are more interested in clicking like/share because other people are doing it as well. Its like a fan page. No one really likes a fan page when it have 0 likes. If you have 15k-30k fake likes and promote this to people, then yes they are more inclined to like your page. Of course you have to keep in mind the fake fan page likes don't like posts/share it. In this case you get a fb bot to manage your own likes/shares to your posts.

Better shares instead of likes. Sharing is caring, therefore, more people targeted.
