Hi All,

I have recently started FB lead gen and have started getting conversions. I am using agency ad accounts and currently my leads are coming very expensive. I am targeting US geo. I am looking for people to connect with me who are also doing the same in or outside of US.

My current pain points -

High CPM and resulting CPC
How to optimize to bring costs down.
Targeting options (Broad to narrow or opposite)
Verticals which are profitable

I am a newbie, burned my hands earlier on Native. but now I am looking to explore FB or TT. TT banned my account but I am trying to get it back. FB is working but it isn't profitable. Look forward to speaking with experienced guys.

U need to change the content first
Let's create several ad comparators with different content on one target file
about 3 adsset/camp

I am using aggressive ads and a good lander... every day is different. Can I try with a different ad account?

Is the the higher CPM a result of more targeting options I use?

You can use a normal ad account to run costs that will be lower than an agency account. You should aim from narrow to broad. Tiktok is stricter than FB, if you run a BH product it's easy to get banned
That's a sound advice, all things considered. It's cost effective running a normal ad account and reaching the threshold is easier too so you get more out of it.

Here's an improved copy for the content:"Save on costs by using a normal ad account instead of an agency account. Start with a narrow audience and gradually expand to broader ones for better results. Keep in mind that TikTok has stricter guidelines compared to Facebook. If you're running a BH product, be cautious as it's easier to get banned on TikTok."

We run plenty of FB Lead ads (FB form leads).
It's quite obvious, but after years - the #1 factor is the offer itself.
It can make x3-x5 difference in prices.

If I use my own profile's Ad account, and it gets banned - does my profile also gets banned? Can I create multiple "normal" ad accounts for my profile? Do I create a new BM?

You can try some facebook marketing tools to generate leads on fb cuz the cost per leads is actually much lower this way...maybe it consumes a little bit more time using it than just posting some ads

can you elaborate? are you referring to lead forms?

Revenue ~170 USD at the time of writing this post. Should close around $210

Consistently having ~$170-200 per day now from last 7 days.

Cost is also stable at break-even - $200 revenue vs $200 spend

I am currently doing lead gen on Facebook. So not making any money for now, but also not losing money hand over fist.

I hope FB also gets better with time and gives me leads at a lower cost. Also, my offer CR and LP CTR are also good, just the payout is on the more down side and hence also is the EPC.

I am now looking to lead gen across verticals - so as to find a profitable offer. Would be great if someone can share any pointers - or point me in the right direction.

Buddy, go from Narrow to board.

It’s helps the algorithm to learn the target audiences who will take actions. Only go board when you have enough data.

Or the learning phrase will bleed you dry even before you start seeing results.

Test multiple ads creatives.

Set low budget for each creative to start so that the platform algorithm do not aim to spend your all your budget for data but for results.

That depends on what offer you are running, for example Solar works good on tiktok where Medicare preforms good on facebook.
working with facebook creative is king, that is what will bring your CPC/CPM down or up.

I think you should create multiple ads with different images and content, we need to figure out which ad set is the best then you can focus your budget on that ad, I think that will be optimal budget for you.

Revenue ~605 USD

Turned profitable (not overall) but still the number of days I am green is increasing.

I am usually profitable if the CPM is controlled from the get-go. There are bad days as well but mostly they are breaking even.

Will post again when I am doing $1k days regularly. I already had one day when I forgot to turn off the campaigns. Thankfully it resulted in a break even day rather than something crazy.

I am looking to scale up campaigns. Let me know incase there is an optimised way to do it

American market always has many difficulties for newcomers. In times of inflation and recession like now, I think their shopping will also be cut. That's why CPM and CPC are high. you can move target to EU countries. And of course, finding a good and different advertising content will also help reduce advertising costs. because their algorithm will reduce the delivery rate for copied content so users don't get bored while surfing their feed
