since fb changed their design in privacy settings,i am unable limit my wall posts (by me) visibility so that it should be visible to only me
is it possible now???...

You want your wall posts visible only to you? What's the point of posting then...

Just change your settings on the page to make the page only visible to Admins. Then your sorted.

there is nothing in the wall.only some posts like "changed profile pic, updated current city,etc.."..
if others see, they will easily come to know that it is a fake profile...i want it to look like real profile..thats why i wanna hide that empty wall...

Delete those old messages and stop keeping a log of your activity on a public feature. Add a Notes tab and save that stuff in a private note. Or better yet, on a notepad on your PC.

all those posts like profile pic change, hometown cgange etc will automatically post to our wall...i think there is no way to avoid it

Log into FB - click the "Account" drop down menu in the top right corner - select "Privacy Settings"

Look for "How You Connect" - click "Edit Settings"

Change "Who can post on your wall?" to "Only Me"

ya...by doing this i can limit others from posting in my wall...

but that is not the problem...

if you like a new page (say x),then auomatically a post will appear in your wall like "Mr MoneyMan likes X"....

that post is visible to public..there is no way to limit its visibility..

you have the option to remove that post..no other way..

It happened to me several times that even after I applied this setting, people could still post. Not all, but a few managed to post "scam & spam" comments, hmmm:) LOL

Correct, and I don't believe FB affords a way to hide this, as it goes against the idea of sharing within the network to create a more robust social experience.

Oh, sorry about that. Are you talking about a fan page or an external website? If you are talking about a fan page, the next time you have a "like" posted to your wall, click the "X" to remove it and select "Hide All Likes Activity"

Are you talking about people posting comments on your status updates? I don't believe there is a way to disable that although I am sure it can be limited to Friends of Friends or Friends Only.

They definitely allow you to hide your likes activity for fan pages, but I am not so sure about external websites (if this is what the OP is talking about).

I was under the impression this feature is only available for personal accounts.

Could be, I was reading the thread as if it was a wall on his page.

When you click X button on any of the activity ,there will be an option to choose hide these kind of activities from wall.

Hope it helps :)

Oh okay, I was reading it as a wall on a profile because he said "real profile" and "fake profile." Which are you referring to OP?

He has created a fake profile and he doesnt want any recent activities present in the profile wall.

Then his question(s) should have been answered in this thread already. You can hide almost all activity on your profile wall these days and of course you can disable allowing other people to post on your wall.
