Hi guys,

This is my first post so I hope it's useful for someone out there. This is a small method that improved my Facebook Ads CTR and got me signups on my page.

Basically, with this method I did an ultra targeted ad and then redirected traffic to my website.

Let?s give an example with the music niche. Start by targeting one big page, like the NME Music Magazine page.

Then:

1. Use Social Lead Gold (try trial version on BHW) to extract most active users on NMEs FB page
2. Go to NME website and check the most popular content. Take 3/4 articles that suit your product communication.
3. Make a custom url on Snip.ly (app that allows sharing content while driving traffic) and add a GOOD call to action on the link
4. Finally, make a custom audience on FB with SLG file and advertise the NME articles, but with the custom snip.ly URLs.

People will click A LOT on the content and this will get cheap (and quality) traffic to your site, indirectly.

This got me 1) A higher CTR 2) A Good conversion on the custom URL.

Obviously, you can use Snip.Ly only and do this without the ads. But I find this mix very useful.

Hope this helps. Any ideias on automation of this method?

Cheers,

Mike

You can use some of the tactics that buzzfeed or viralnova uses. Learn from them and try to understand why their articles go viral. ;)

These tactics will definitely help you increase your CTR.

I tried advertising on trending matters around my targeted audience, and truthfully, it helps.

True, but for me the challenge here is to choose well the trending matters in order to find quality (active) users.

Trending articles will ALWAYS have a higher CTR- fact
