FB ads Learning Phase

i don't ever get into learning - same as you. Straight to active
Again I believe the reason for this is your site is probably not setup with the FB pixel or its mismatched with the campaign objective - without that, theres no way for them to 'learn' what is working

using purchase objective, and pixel set-up right on 2 diff ad accs

Mobile app? Or 3rd party webapp like shopify?

if not a webapp, I believe you'd need to use the fb SDK. I have not used it much myself personally so I can't help there, but that should allow for it. Or a zapier rig potentially.
Yeah, it's thru a mobile app. I'm going to try your first suggestion about using conversion objective in campaign setup. How do I setup a custom event to fire when IG page is clicked? Should it be self explanatory when I get in there?

The learning phase starts whenever you create a new ad set or make significant changes to an existing one, like altering the budget, audience, or creatives.
It typically lasts until the ad set receives around 50 optimization events within a 7-day period. These events can be clicks, conversions, or other actions you define as valuable for your campaign.

When 50 conversions are achieved, the campaign status will change to active, then your account will have good results and spend faster

some FB accounts dont go into learning phase on a matured pixel , some does

or if your creative if overused , the learning phase could be skipped . from my experience going through learning or active right off the bat dont make any difference in terms of result , sometimes it got me thinking that its just the display not showing that its learning but its basically learning phase still.

The ''Learning'' phase is like the ad is being delivered very slowly, maybe your ad has been repeated many times, maybe you have changed some details in the ad, like in Learning mode you have to wait 6 hours to 24 hours

As I know, the "learning" phase of advertising will depend on whether your pixel is mature or not. For mature pixels, they usually do not go through the learning phase but go directly to the action phase. If they go through the action phase, about 50 successful conversions, that account has good spending results and faster reach, then it will move to the action phase.

All new Facebook ad sets go through a learning phase. This is an important phase for Facebook to optimize how your ads are delivered to the right audience. The learning phase typically lasts until Facebook has collected enough data to understand how your ads are performing. Facebook may change the way it looks and displays information. The “learning” label may be replaced with a different icon or display. Your ads will be shown to the right audience, which can increase click-through rates, conversions, and lower costs.

Do all new ad sets go thru the learning phase? And if yes, how long does this phase last, and when does it start? It says if should say learning under delivery, but mine only says active. And after this learning phase, is there typically better performance?
Ads that have a machine learning phase will have better results, it will take 1-2 hours to move to the active phase.

I think yes, they all have to go through the machine learning stage, but the time will be different for each campaign, some are fast, some are slow, slow can last several hours.
