I am running a company that sells codes and scripts on CodeCanyon. I want to promote my codes through Facebook ads, but I'm getting irrelevant click-throughs. I want to target the perfect audience for my codes.

what strategy should i use? and what audience i need to target for increase my sale?

i should target only code-related audiences or technical audiences?
 
Yeah, targeting that specific audience will yield you marginally better results. Go for both code-related and technical if you can since those audiences tend to intersect at a point.
 
Your target audience should be Web developers, Software engineers, Designers, small business owner ( people who manage their websites), Freelancers.
