So, I have my Facebook ad campaigns geographically limited to Portland, OR. I was in Google Analytics and I noticed an unusually high number of Facebook PPC visits coming from Rutherford, NC (wtf!) all with the same domain "tfbnw". After a little searching I figured out that is a Facebook bot!
I don't mind Facebook indexing my site, but I don't want to be charged for it! While I realize Facebook 'clicks' and site 'visits' will not always match, I am seeing a really big difference. For example, 686 Facebook clicks equated to 548 site visits, 86 of which were from "tfbnw"!
Has anyone had a similar experience? Or have any idea what's going on?
