Lately I came to facebook advertising. I fond good WSO in the download section called one penny click from facebook ads. But first time I got clicks for $0.12 from facebook for US young traffic.

I always tell to noobs to follow case studies because at least we have a path. It is better than nothing.

I made a fanpage calling "free xbox live" and tested few images to ads. ad writing i used as mention in the wso.

Finally I realize that it is not difficult to get cheap traffic from facebook and I am going to test more CPA offers.

Winner

ctr =0.133%
CPC = 0.13

Following are the ads

Once you found a working ad copy try to make few ads from that image. adding borders, changing background and adding some effects.

Nicely done bro....but, allright the ad is successful, but what about the monetization? Have you re-covered your expenses?

Since it's a Free Xbox fan page, he's gonna monetize with email submit offers from CPA networks...hopefully it will work for him.

he has spent less than 20 bucks so far, so he would need around 10-15 conversions to make a profit.

Yes need more fans to monetize the page. Best part of the games I will get free likes because when some one likes on the page his firends will see. Fans are stupid youngsters (hope any Blahattera are not there ) So it is easy to monetize via email zip submits. I will split test it to see best results.

So are you building a fan base using fb ads, and then monetizing them later with a free email submit CPA offer?
If so, how many fans are you going to wait for before you attempt to monetize?

Nice thread You didn't mention anything about targeting? What keywords did you use? You really should test more, because with narrowing down the targeted group and using the right KWs, your CTR should increase way over 0,133

I read the OPC guide a few days ago and thought I'd try this out for myself. So far the best I've been able to do is get a CTR of .338 but even by the authors instruction thats kinda a fail since he says they should be running around .75-1.00 but the lowest you should shoot for is a .5 anything below he says to pause. So a .133 is a great start but I wouldn't really call that a "winner" just yet. How big was the demo for that ad? So you're running CPC and not CPM?
