Fax Scraper

    I am looking for a fax scraper or spider , I am in the equipment transportation industry looking for a way to collect fax numbers...all the ones I have seen look like they were made in the 80's if you know where I can get one or have one created for me please let me know need one ASAP

    I dont think you will find a spider that will accurately differentiate between phone numbers and fax numbers. App in my sig collects phone numbers and fax numbers.

    unless some can code a bot in some way

    As noted since fax and phone have the same format you can't use a app that will just match on a format.

    Now if you were only scraping 1 site, like some directory for instance and they formatted every page the same, you could probably use markers in the page to scrape just the fax numbers. Scrapebox has a phone number scraper and a custom data scraper that lets you build modules to scrape just about anything.

    But if your looking to scrape phone numbers off of a list of random sites, then the formatting will vary and you will have no way of knowing what is what.

    So I guess the question is, is there some database/single site/directory etc.. that you can get the fax numbers from that you need? Else its going to be hard, especially with finding fax numbers, because low demand for fax numbers these days leads most developers to not develop something that might takes mountains of work for a handful of users.
