The Legend of Zelda on the N64 was the best single player game. I only play multiplayers these days and Battlefield 3 is going to in my xbox for rather a long time.

I did however play Halo 3 multiplayer and nothing else for about 3 years.
 
I'd say Half Life 1 and Quake 2 and a classic: Rise of the Triad ....
best games ever imo ...
 
Max Payne 1 - was the all time coolest game - still hasnt been beaten - Story line was epic.
 
Final Fantasy 3 (or FF6, depending on where you are from) all the way!
 
PRINCE OF PERSIA-the forgotten sands

u cant forget it, if you play it onetime..for sure
 
mass effect 1, 2. I usually hate shooting alien and monsters but ME changed my opinion.
 
Super smash bros melee! I still play it to this day
 
Fallout 2. I think I've played and finished this game over 40 times and I have the feeling I will play it again.
