Everyone loved the snes.....and many still do....

Mine would have to be... In no particular order...

1. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle: Turtles In Time
2. Super Mario World
3. Donkey Kong series
4. Super Mario Kart
5. Street fighter II: Turbo


My question is what was your favorite games on it?

zelda link to the past has to be one of top favs for sure, but
for some reason i thought it was on nes
maybe i should re-think me posts when im drunk.. hah
 
Hmm... In no particular order:

Zelda

I see many a fine game listed here already. My top picks are definitely FF6, Chrono Trigger, Mario RPG, Zelda, and mario paint.

The SNES is still the best game console ever to come out.
 
snes was the best for sure....

with mario paint i had many good times, renting that shit from the store...
classic fuckin game....

Agreed, the snes is the most solid console to ever hit the market, I've got one and still play it today, I've got all my favorite games for it, Final Fantasy 3(6), Chrono Trigger, Killer Instinct Gold, and about a dozen more, I've even got the Super Gameboy lol.

Those 4 I totally forgot about lol, also good classics, I played R&R Racing for a LONG time, that was one of my favorite racing snes games of all time next to micro machines. And zombies ate my neighbors was an awesome game as well lol. Secret of mana, instant classic, and F-Zero, I own it and still play it today lol
 
mario cart, secret of mana, secret of evermore, final fantasy 6, live-a-live (awesome japanese RPG that you must get by squaresoft, before square enix was born!)
 
Metal Warriors, by Konami/LucasArts. That game has the sickest 2 player Versus mode on the SNES
 
Another very good title was "Uncharted Waters: New Horizons" by KOEI, this title is rare and hard to find.

Good call on metal warriors. I had the japanese version "assaults suits valken"..man that game was super even on 1 player. I remember using the napalm weapon as my favorite. Oh memories memories...
