Favorite services to boost your site results?

I've tried Fiverr to drive some traffic and most of it is fake traffic (which I somewhat expected) but I didn't mind losing $20 to learn that. What are your favorite services to boost your traffic, SEO and such? I'm fully intending on learning how to do all this myself but I also have heard of ways to get results faster while you learn and if I have to cash to drop on it, why not?
