I am looking for a plugin for 404 messages. There are a few when I search is there any one favorite that everyone agrees is the best to use?

Plugin for 404? Why add unnecessary plugins to your site when you can just fill in your 404.php template?

It was for wordpress. I did not even know you could do that. I will look into that.

Your 404.php should be in your root theme folder and should be reasonably self explanatory. Some themes (Thesis) like to make it difficult and it's not as straightforward as it should be.

It is from elegant themes. I will check it out. I had to rebuild the website from scratch because google hated it so there will be mad broken links from all the link building I did since the structure is different and I am starting from scratch. Stupid google.
