Try sony vegas. It does batch rendering too.

I'm using this one too, sony vegas, and it works even better than a charm. It's brilliant and easy (for watermarks). Can be placed anywhere you want, any kind of fonts you want (have in system) and lots of effects. Actually, the software does a lot more than this

Sony Vegas is probably the best one to use.
