Fastest Way To Scan Magazines And Convert To Text

I'm currently using the tool "FreeOcr" but i'm running into a lot of problem with the text in the articles

Where do I find a good Magazine editor
would come out like this

also any advice on a good affordable scanner for this task?

This is what I use to find magazine issues, newspapers, other periodicals all in full text. Most libraries provide access to these databases for free. Pretty awesome. You could look into that.
