what i do is i buy followers ( if needed)
and then i go to someone elses personal account and follower everyone who retweets/favorites there tweets works better for me when they recently posted a tweet .
btw your bio and profile picture and what you posts is a big part of if they will follow you back or not .
another way is to go to tweepi.com and filter a users followers and you can follow people who were active the same day and most likely they will follow back .

How do you find out people who retweets on that account and how to mass follow them ?

Open the tweet then click where it says "Retweets {number of retweets}", not the retweets icon. It will show you everyone who retweeted it.
To automate it you can write a tool, hire a programmer, look around the downloads section.

Even for a personal account, in order to grow it, you need some sort of a niche.

I have tried tweepi,com and my followers increase but lately some of them were gone, but its proven to increase your followers.

Post, retweet, comment, basically engage in everything entreprenuership related.

Im running an ifttt of fastcompany and techcrunch right now. but i will decrease the automation and tweet more frequently.

Or... you could try a hybrid:
1. automate following and tweet liking adn re-tweeting.
2. manually tweet anything you feel necessary.

I use MassPlanner.
Buit all bots are going to do the same thing of following, re-tweeting or liking.
I think is up to your personal choice what bot you like.

doing massplanner atm , but still doing the followings with chrome extensions. good results so far, i followed your advice now i have automated the likes and dm for new followers (a invitation to keep connected).
