I have potential advertisers that want to advertise on my gaming blog but they say my Alexa score needs to be better. Right now it's about 600k for the US and 1.6 mill global. What's the fastest way to get it down to 100k for local? I'm ranking pretty well for my keywords and have been purchasing traffic to speed things up. I installed the Alexa widget on my site. What else can I do?

I do believe blasting it with fake traffic still works. Also, traffic bots still do the trick. I mean, you have to keep the bot running for like 2-3 weeks to see a dramatic improvement, but those are the only ways i'm aware of that are active right now.

Thanks for the tip. I think the cheapest and easiest way would be to get traffic bot software. I checked on fiverr and found this:

Right now I'm paying $25 a month to a guy on fiverr who's giving me 300,000 visitors a month (not all uniques). The gig above seems like a better option. I'm just worried this will get my adsense account banned. Not looking for anyone to click but I want the traffic. While on the topic of ads, would advertisers that pay CPM pay me for fake traffic? Seems like a long shot but thought I'd ask.

Ya i agree with the above posts. Blasting with fake traffic will do wonders and also they are really available for very cheap price. Fiverr would be a good option.

i am blasting with scrape box
with referral
thats good for seo too :PPPPPPPP

The fastest way to get good Alexa ranking is to use Alexa toolbar and make search of your sites using that toolbar.

Traffic is no use to you unless that traffic has the alexa toolbar installed.. As said above load the alexa toolbar on to your own computer... Do what I do load it on my own computer in firefox and explorer leave it running 24 hrs... I do the same on a secon P.C and two Laptops.. Massive Alexa blast.. Off course if somebody looks into the alexa data it will narrow it down to one area ie. "fyufiufui.com is very popular in the manchester area" that doesnt bother me as I do localised sites.

Scale it up by getting some of your gaming buddies to install the toolbar and run your site on their pcs for a week

This is what I have been using: h t t p://fiverr.com/john2222/send-10000-visitors-to-lower-alexa. This guy has able to drop all my website's alexa ranking below the 300k mark.

Don't know if it still works, but for niches that are big (gaming is, of course), I used to just sign up to a few forums and post regularly, and find a few blogs and comment regularly. Even ~100 visits a day can drop your Alexa down to less than 100,000.

In fact, even dropping the link on these forums can do that—some of these people might have the toolbar installed, and generally this kind of traffic counts for more when it comes to Alexa rankings. But then again, you may not want to do that if you don't want people copying your niche, strategy, etc.
