bluehost is good never experienced any problem with them 3 years with them the next month
hostgator nah it seriously sucks !
support horrible,a lot of bugs, downtime, they also charged me for 1 more hosting year when i cleary told support that i would stop using them and they told me in live chat that the next 24h the account will close and no further fees will be applied
so the next 24 h acc gets closed as promised and 3 h recieved a phone call from my bank that 130$ (don't remember the exact amount) had been charged from me for hostgator
well i contacted support again (email this time) they told me they never billed me
i went to my bank asked for a detailed report and yeah it was there the money had been sent to the same billing account just like when i paid for the first time

blue host will limit your visitors, so only really good for small sites. They cap visitors on shared hosting like justhost. Blue host, host gator and just host are all the same company.

you will have issues with any wordpress website on shared hosting if it goes viral or receives big traffic. If budget permits you should have a vps or a dedicated server or check out digital ocean.
If you want to stick to shared, inmotion beats godaddy, hostgator etc, but they are slightly more expensive.
All EIG companies have more or less the same speeds.

Most reputable servers are all fast. What you need to focus on is optimization of your wp installation and using a CDN. These 2 things are major factors to ensure speed and google will love you for it.

Thanks guys. I'll switch over to VPS. I'll check out the hosts you guys mentioned. If anyone else has a favorite for vps please let me know. Godaddy definitely doesn't cut it. They want another $400 per year to upgrade me to a quasi-vps setup (according to the customer service rep).

It was during a conversation with their support team, he admitted they cap visitors. So as hostgator, bluehost etc are the same company, you can't really say one is better than the other
