fastest hosting for wordpress/woocommerce

What hosting do you guys recommend for speed and support? i don't mind paying a little bit extra but it needs to be fast and have good support..

These are the ones i've used :

wp engine - best support ever, but also the most expensive host i have ever used. Used them for 2 years no problems other then the insane prices.

rocket.net - was pretty fast but they kicked me out of their hosting for unknown reasons so no go..i can't recommend them to blackhat users.

a2 hosting - didnt' really use them that long but they seem solid in terms of performance. Support kind of sucks though.

green geeks - i saw it got recommend here and this is what i am currently using. Support is average but i feel the speed really isnt' up to par..
I guess if you pay like 12$/ month you can have Cloudways very fast

Buy a vps with KVM dasghboard and install CloudPanel easy to use, hace an cloud storage for your wordpress imagess (embedd only the link form the cdn storage) and have an external remote backup services for your WP costs between $2-7 monthly, the $2 version I forgot the name of it is one of the Godaddy sub branch services, so long you not have Hosting and Donain with these godaddyfokkers you a should be fine. Then save the $12 for Cloudways.
Look for an KVM vps with easy root access -not that comnplicated shit of setting up ssh keys.

Happy Sunday!

i'd say try Cloudways (with vultr HF or digitalocean), speed's and support is decent. not as hand-holdy as wp engine but good enough.
also kinda easy to scale up if u need later.

stay away from shared crap tho, esp if u care about speed.

I would say that in most cases, everything depends on the plugins that WP admins are using along with their WordPress. Some of them can eat a lot of resources.

Dedicated hosting preferably in your country or wherever your target audience is.

Install Wordops to install and manage your websites. Wordops used NGINX web server, and NGINX is already optimized for Wordpress and woocommerce. https://docs.wordops.net/getting-started/installation-guide/

Create Wordpress websites using wordops with php 8.4, nginx fast_cgi cache, opcache (server side php caching) and redis object cache for database caching as your options.

Opcache doesn’t come enabled so use Claude.ai or another top tier ai to guide you through allocating ram and configuring opcache.

Get Flying Press Wordpress plugin to optimize css, JavaScript, defer etc.

Even elementor websites are capable of loading in one second or less using these technologies.

If you are new to ssh and server configuration I recommend setting up a test server on Ubuntu server and watching some YouTube videos for newbies so you can familiarize yourself with the Linux command line.

A top tier AI should be able to guide you in 99% of situations.

Most of you here have no clue how fast and easy to use (ssh root login) a KVM vps is when you isntall CloudPanel, it has NGINX and Redis pre installed. All is ready to use with the default settings and make your WP site loading blazing fast!

Happy Monday ! Monday, yeah that's my Funday.....;)

Deals from hostingsource.com are worth trying due to their top-notch services at modest rates.

Do you mind elaborating more on this? How can a layman activate this?

If you’re just doing blogs this is fine. If you have complex custom membership websites, forums, or woocommerce with a lot of plugins for added custom functionality for a great user experience you need more than cloudpanel out of the box.

Wow this thread is still blowing? I just came back from vacation and i see many replies after a year lol

Anyways :

Ever since i made this thread i jumped on to dedicated server. Yes dedicated server is amazing HOWEVER there is 0 support.

My web developer isn't familiar with dedicated server. So i decided to probably move to cloudways in the coming weeks.

I have used cloudways for my other websites and it's definitely the fastest with very very good support.

If you are in black or grey niche you will have no choice but to run unmanaged servers. After 15 years my advice in this thread is what makes me successful. There was a lot of failure to begin with but I have distilled success for many that operate in topics hosting companies don’t like to manage.

Ufff american slang .....ok what is a layman? It's simpler as you think, Buy a good vps provider who has a virtualized KVM dashboard.(its easier to use) First ask the vps provider if he has easy to login ssh root login, (not that complicated shit with these ssh keys) . Then login as root in your kvm console.

Then you find the installation command here on https://www.cloudpanel.io/docs/v2/getting-started/other/. Order your vps with the newest ubnuntu 24 version. Then install as root with this command your CloudPanel . Watch youtube video how setup your free let's encrypt ssl, add your domain, install wordpress etc,etc in CloudPanel here:

Cloudpanel: Let the deafualt NGINX and Redis settings as it is not change them. You caqn enable varnish to!
Then buy a remote wordpress backup service easy to use costs between $2-7 monthly and you have peace in mind.
And your WP site will blazing fast enjoy it !

Yes I agree with that.

I have an ionos vps easy to use with KVM, has easy root ssh login. Runs on 2.4Ghz speed clock not 3.5 or 4.2 but it's fast enough with cloudpanel who has redis ans nbginx pre installed. I would say when you get 80.000 visitors a month then switch to a dedicated root server or use a more powerful vps like 8cpu + 8GB RAM then setup cloudflare APO which costs only $5 monthly, with this setup your vps can handle mor ethan 80k visitors a month and you save the money not to buy an expensive dedicated root.

Uffff......I need a better more accurate PC keyboard or a better finger training, to prevent typo errors.......
