I am looking for a new solution for hosting. I am using Bluehost right now but it is pretty dang slow. What is a good hosting provider that is proven to be fast and not too expensive?

Fast depends on where your visitors are from and where servers are at.

as long as servers are not overloaded sites should load fast.
 
Please share more details like total hits per day / month
Space used
Bandwidth consumption
Website type static? Php, wordpress?
 
You should have your current usages and based on them start new search here.
Have some candidates.
Contact them for test account if possible.
Run your own tests.
Based on results - make decision.
 
You should get some location-specific (depends on your traffic) VPS along with Openlitespeed,
Do check Vultr, Linode, Digitalocean, Contabo, etc...
There are some really good ones here in the marketplace as well, take a look
 
Fast hosting services are available from hostingsource and hostnamaste.
Cheap and reliable they are.
 
It's too soon for me to fully rate everything having to do with Netshop-isp.com.cy hosting, but I can already see great things!
I have not used any of the tools provided, but they have them and that is what matters to me right now. I am excited to start learning.
 
Depends on the type of server you need. If you are looking for a VPS or Dedicated I would check out. NextArray or Dedipath. If you are needing shared hosting then check out inmotionhosting
 
A2 Hosting has been one of the faster web hosting I've used.

this completely depends on what kind of website or content you are going to host and how much traffic you have on your website. Also, what hosting plan you are using right now. is it shared hosting, VPS, or dedicated server.
provide us more details so we can recommend you something good for your project.

How much are you wanting to spend and what is your technical ability? Do you require something simple that is managed by the hosting company that you can control via cpanel or plesk, or do you know your way around a Linux box?
