Will the company sue me if I put up a website selling CHI because I'm not their authorized dealer or distributor ?
I have this kind of experience before selling some stuff in the past. The company sent me an email telling me that I infringe their intellectual property. They wanted me to shut down my website otherwise they will sue me.
Any advice ?

If they are fake, yes,
If they are not fake, and you some how got real ones, and the person you bought them from can prove they are not fake to the CHI ppl, then technically, they can sue you for royalties, or your profit.
Most of the time you will get a cease and desist letter from a lawyer.. When you do just stop all together, and sell off your remaining stock asap.
They usually leave you alone unless you got some major complaints.. Tip is once you start getting complaints from people saying they rill report you just find another product..
