Series of questions about fan pages, just want to know how to not push the limits etc.


So Creating a fan page
QUESTION #1
I Do not know what to list under

local business ?
Brand, Product, or Organization?
Artist, Band, or Public Figure?

QUESTION #2
How do I verify the page so It doesn't get taken away!

I remember someone got a fan group taken away! And then they cried because it was 1 mil members and they didnt get it verified?

So my questions
What do I list under See question #1
Verify my fan page See question #2

Don't know about the verify part but choosing a category is wise, wise in the sense that it should be relevant to your product so the people who want to search that way will have a better chance of finding your product.

Also how do I get the News Tab added?

From what I have read, you may want to try this for verification:
Get an account at blogger.com. Post some BS blog entries. Use the new blogger domain as your official URL. Go to your Facebook page and click "Edit Page." Under "Promote Your Page" click "Promote with a fan box" and click the blogger icon. You will then login to your blogger account and the facebook fan box wil be present on your blog. I think that should verify the page.
