What is the best way to market to your own fan page? Just simply posting an update on the page itself? Or individually messaging all members? When the fan page is your own, can you click on "X number of people like this"? Because I noticed I can't normally click this area when the fan page isn't my own. Any help is appreciated.

posting regular updates on the page walls works, most of your post would be visible for your fans who notice it via their New Feed. Meanwhile, it would be better if you get actively involved in friends post, make response when friends make comments on your update. what's more, adopting Facebook ads to grow your fan base would be feasible. If you own any fan page, you can check the number of people who like your page, while if you are not the admin or the page, the fans who like that page would be invisible.
