Fanpage Click Through Ratio

Maybe someone with a decent sized fan page can answer. If you make a status update asking everyone on your fanpage to come check out a posting on your blog, what is the expected ratio of people who will generally click through?

I know it depends on the topic, but just guestimate please - 1%, 2%, 5%?? Higher or lower?

There is honestly no way to tell for several reasons. One is what you named, the topic. Two is the content. Three is the size of your fan page. Four is the demographics of your fans. I could go on forever.

The only true way to find out is to test it out as it will be completely different for everyone for the reasons I listed above (and many more).

I guess I am interested to know before I go building a big fan page. Most of the things I have seen, like my poorest site adsense conversion ratio is about 1.5-2% and I was assuming something like that as a worst case scenario.

What I am trying to tell you is there is no possible way I could give you accurate numbers. I could tell you 1%, 5%, 10%, but this would all be inaccurate information. You need to test it out for yourself.
