I've finished coding my new software today, so here are some of the first results.

Pittsburgh Pirates v Los Angeles Dodgers (28th 17:35 BST).

BetClick - Place $100 On DODGERS (odds correct as of posting @ 2.3)
BetFair - Place $86.46 on PIRATES (odds correct as of posting @ 2.66)

Total outlay = $186.46
Total return = $230
---------------------------
Profit = $ 43.54
---------------------------

If you fancy putting $1k on dodgers & $864.60 on pirates you'd make a tax free profit of $435.40. Not bad for 5 mins work.

Can't :p took me long enough to make it actually work, so i want to profit from it for now.

Btw, windows closed guys. Odds have moved to 2.64 & 1.58, no edge available anymore. Check historic odds on the website though if you don't believe it ever existed ...

I'll post another later. Politics perhaps?

Can you use either of these sites in the US? Through a proxy? Will they still let you bet?
 
Interesting, so this software calculates how much you need to bet to make a profit no matter who wins?

I'd highly suggest if you're going to dabble in arbitrage that you get a custom script app to actually place the bet, these spreads are caught and corrected pretty fast, imagine placing first bet only to find the gap is closed. At that point you're just gambling.

I hope you actually got in on that one, arbitrages with that high of a spread (20%+) are extremely rare.

"2.3" would mean, if you put $1 on, you get $2.3 back ($1.3 profit).

@emrinho; no, it won't lower my profit, but i've been working on this a while and some of the maths took me a while to nail.

Because the odds changed so quickly on the last one, i'll be kind and post another. UK politics.

Well as he calulated on first example both give you 230 currency you choose and total you put in would be 180$ about :)

i think his software basically spiders ? anyway searches , trough betting sites' lists and find pairs which are profitable for sure :) nice app idd.

Do you have money ready on accounts or make a deposit when you find right places ?
 
You've gotta have accounts at 19 diff sites. Many of them allow instant deposits with cards though and save your details for a 1-click bet. so you can do the whole process in a minute.

They close quickly, so you just have to be watching! There was a nice snooker one yesterday i missed out on. Damnit.
 
why you need a software for that? there are plenty of sports arbitrage services out there, some even free

and you should check at http://www.sportsbookreview.com/ if the bookmaker is legit. bigclicks doesn't even have a rating. You might just have lost those $100

Well, I'm also from Portugal and I wouldn't recommend it, never personally used it, but... heard lot's of mixed reviews concerning that site, so just be careful!

Glad to see other people from Portugal around here, up until now it's extremely rare to see people from our country, my personally experience tells me that everyone from our country is used to treat IM as a scam without even understanding it.
 
But most services only work on 2 outcome eents. i.e. win/lose. To be able to do it Win/Lose/Draw or on 80 player tournaments, thats the interesting part :p.

I'm going to have to work out a way to include lay betting in it aswell because you can create opportunities on lay+back bets in some instances.
 
I'm not exactly sure how this works? If you're bored, would you mind telling us the basics of this strategy? I'm not familiar with this type of stuff.

If I asked too broad of a question, just let me know and I'll clarify. :)

better watch out for bookies, they can weasel paying out very easily, and sods law its when you put on the big one!

been there done that and its sure to end in tears... but good luck and hope u pull it off!
