Does anyone out there have experience with Insta-sale?
(bring on the fake posters raving about their positive experience)
It's come to our attention that perhaps Insta-sale is owned by the same Albanian scammer as Fameswap. Why do we think this?
Similar website design.
Exact same process for adding an account to the platform - you add a random code to your bio and automatically verify.
No contact us page, address or anything of the sort.
Similar username hiding - @*****gram
No Whois data at all.
They both use the same server host - Digital Ocean.
They both appear to offer escrow but they are not registered escrow providers.
Same process for account approval - you upload an account and at a random time during the day someone manually approves it.
Similar formatting of emails.
For those of you not familiar with Fameswap - they have been scamming people through their Fameswap Escrow for years. Buyer sends money, seller sends Instagram login details and then Fameswap Albania logs in and changes all the Instagram details then makes up a lie about what happened. This happened to us with a 120k follower account for $1725

We couldn't find a single post or review anywhere online about Insta-sale - they were created in 2018.
Bottom line is these shady websites have got to go. If you can't provide people with a contact us page, a location and a human behind your "Instagram escrow process" you've got to go.
