FAMESWAP.COM IS A SCAM

Just want to let you all guys know not to use this website ever again and do not sell or buy anything there.

Was trying to buy a specific account on Fameswap.com for a very high price. Immediately after I topped up the balance ($4900) I was banned by the administration of the website. MEssaged to the support, but I do not think this will help in any way.

Please spread the message about these scammers!!!

And share in this thread if you ever was scammed there or have negative experiences with this or other similar websites.

Thanks for the warning. Fameswap has been known for shady stories for years, especially with high-value deals. $4900 is a serious loss.

If the support team doesn’t respond, definitely try to request a chargeback through your payment method.

After contacting the support the issue was resolved, and account is unbanned. I am proceeding with the deal and will update the details here.

Ouch, that's rough. What reason did they give for the ban?

They've been known scammers for years now. Should've done your due diligence before pulling the trigger.

Proceed with cautious and be 100% sure before spending this money on their platform

Damn, that's rough. I've been hearing more bad stuff about Fameswap lately too. Sucks when platforms pull shady moves like that, especially with that kind of money involved. Appreciate you sharing more people need to know

So, you falsely accused them in the end? Seems so. You should at least confirm that you were wrong.


I am not affiliated with them, just outing facts.

I am pleased to inform you guys that the situation is resolved and I want to say thanks to the Fameswap support team in the swift resolution of the issue.
In case some of you face the similar problem, just contact their support -- it usually takes about 1 full day for them to respond.

I am the seller on FameSwap for the transaction you referenced in this thread. Initially, I recommended using PlayerUp as a middleman, since FameSwap couldn't proceed with the sale of verified account. However, it appears that only you and I are active in the three-way communication on Player Up platform. None of PlayerUp’s middlemen have responded to my requests or engaged in our conversation, nor have they replied to my private messages.

That prompted me to research their service, and I was shocked to find reviews stating that sellers have been chasing payments for months, or even years, with little to no communication from PlayerUp.

In contrast, FameSwap has been responsive to my messages and demonstrates a strong commitment to security, which is why they are cautious about proceeding with the sale of verified accounts. Fortunately, since I’ve canceled my X Premium subscription, my account is no longer verified.

I feel confident conducting the sale on FameSwap. To accommodate the inconvenience of switching platforms, I’m willing to reduce the price to offset any fees you’ve incurred.

I’d appreciate your thoughts on how to move forward.

Unfortunately, though, FameSwap removed my listing after determining that my account was verified. I’m currently working to persuade them to reinstate the listing, as the account is no longer verified due to the cancellation and expiration of my X Premium subscription.

Do you have any other suggestions for how we might proceed?

FameSwap support provided the response below, but I’ve clarified that the account is no longer verified and was never ID-verified. I’m currently waiting for their reply.

By the way, FameSwap has approved the reinstatement of my X listing. It is currently under review before being made public.
