False unauthorized paypal disputes

So this idiot did a unauthorized payment claim with paypal after i installed and designed a site for him. I know all the sites he owns on his server, so it took 2 mins to dig up heaps of info on this loser.

Its impossible for me to lose if paypal actually reads 5% of the proof i have that he is full of shit.

Does anyone know what happens to people when they get busted doing bogus "unauthorized payment claims"? Do they actually close their account & pass the evidence of fraud on to local authorities?

Lol no I dont think so... ahha nothing happens the dispute is usually just closed from what I've read and past experiences.

I've read about 6+ Year customers with perfect profile that got their account locket for 6 months because of a false dispute

Nothing happens to the ppl that make a bogus claim. I hate Paypal more and more each day. I wish my business was not so tied into them.

Yep theadultsplayground.
They never hit on me yet but I read SO MUCH about them that I really feel not good using paypal as main payment processor.
It's like a sharp sword at your neck, always ready to come down based on a random event.

I guess you should always have a backup payment processor ready to use

thanks guys. its crazy that they don't get punished or banned for straight out fraud. This my first issue with gaypal in 7-8yrs & it has been a huge wake up call on how vulnerable i am to financial sabotage.

Shit, you should see my paypal account. I recently had an affiliate of mine try and scam the crap out of me by making fake sales with stolen credit cards...i have like 30+ chargebacks now.

im sure paypal is loving that.

Much like the Credit Card Companies, Paypal doesn't care if the buyer initiates a dispute/chargeback because they have no liability. I learned years ago never to use PP for transactions over a 100 bucks or so.

When we did design work we require all payments to be made through a 3rd Party Processor. The fees are a little higher but they fight the chargeback. One cool thing about the 3rd party processor we use, is if a customer does a chargeback they ban that credit card from being used on their network

GayPal is just ridiculous. They'll limit your account for any reason or no reason at all (had mine done 3 times). They provide absolutely NO buyer protection with intangible items. They have you by the short hairs and they know it. The only way they will learn is when they are driven out of business by fed-up customers who refuse to use this joke of a payment processor anymore.

Yeah I had the same problem with a guy that used to frequent this forum. Justin Daves scammed me out of 1800 dollars and paypal did NOTHING to help me get my money back. Just a warning to everyone on blackhatworld......if you run into this cat!! Run the other way!
