As anyone knows it's almost impossible to get noticed on a site like Fiverr, do you think one should fake its entire persona, like hire some girl to do a video for you and fake that you are female the entire time?
Or maybe hire a super attractive young guy, I'm not really sure as to the gender allocation of buyers on Fiverr...if there are more females maybe a handsome guy would be better.

Do you think many people do this just to get noticed on Fiverr?
Don't you just hate the world we live in...not really a surprise now when I think about it, all commercials for anything have really attractive people, of both genders , but it's a different story when it's on a personal level.

In most cases chances are the service is offered by male(s) and rarely by female(s), so faking your gender with an attractive female would not fool people with above average IQ, but get you lots of PMs from horny gorillas.

Yeah, I thought too that it might look too transparent and desperate. I actually remember reading a study some time ago that shows that even attractive guys works for straight males in terms of better sales so it seems like it's a universal thing one should do.
 
Although if people figure out that you have a fake persona, do you get sanctioned officially by Fiverr for that?
 
I don't have trouble getting noticed on fiverr. The trouble comes when you have to sell your gig :P

If you offer a good service, people will buy it. Just tweet about it like 5 times a day.
 
Being a female when it comes to technical related stuff isn't an advantage. It's rather a disadvantage. Believe me, I'm a female. A lot of people just can't imagine a female can be good in seo, IM and that sort of stuff. In their opinion a female has no clue about technical stuff and should stay at home with the kids. So I'm often faking to be a guy :D Faking hot girls is out ;) at least if you're not into the dating, p0rn area.

I know of some ladies who're very good with SEO and other "technical" stuff and I wouldn't have any problem hiring one, if I had to. Can't understand why many others still feel otherwise. That's just so 18th century.
 
I do not think that is going to work since most people are not jerking off to Fiverr gigs bro. Fake reviews can do something for you
but that is about it.
 
i never buy gigs from girls on fiverr. just saying.
 
Advertise your service elsewhere, not only on fiverr, and do a thoroughly great job _every_ single time.

A few hundred gigs with > 95% happy customers and you'll start to appear on the first row when organized based on ratings...

That's where I at least pick my gigs -- not based on who or where the gig provider is :)
 
Don't gay around with Fiverr if you want to make money online. Do some real money making, where it does not matter if you are ugly and have a small nob.

Ditto. Not saying you can't make money with Fiverr but in general people making money use Fiverr as a easy outsource
resource for cheap labor.
