A 301 redirect is the most efficient and Search Engine Friendly method for webpage redirection. The code "301" is interpreted as "moved permanently".

common, this just not make sense to me... i mean, if u do a redirect, u're being led to another website. how can u still stay on the same page and show the pr of another page?
if i for example make a php page like, for eg BHS.php:

Header( "HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently" );
Header( "Location: www.herecomeswebsitename.com" );
?>
if i visit that webpage, it takes me to that website...........i want to stay on the same page and show the data of the other page.

You keep the redirect in place untill there is a PR update, usually within 3-4 months.. and once you get the PR, you remove the redirect and park that page at your host.
To a lay person it looks like a parked site with a high PR.

Increasing PR is not about looking flashy or anything like that but it is all about a site's page which has a designated value according to Google which helps a webmaster in buying and selling links accordingly through monetary transactions or also through link exchange.
For the moment where Google is ruling the search engine market, the PR is quite an important object of desire for a webmaster.

The whole idea is to cheat noobs out of their hard earned money. The modus operandi is to fake page rank and then sell the domain at a domain auction for some nice moolah...
To those who don't know about this it looks like a site with a nice PR, and that they are getting it at a throwaway price and fall for it. And the guys selling are smart enough not to fake a PR higher than 5 or 6... which literally lets them get away unsuspected..
